Jeep Safari is preferable for a smaller group whereas a large group must choose the Canter Safari. Dhikala Zone

Dhikala is one of the most demanding & visited zones and top the list of tourists visiting the park. The best time to visit the zone is from November to June.As the entry gate for Dhikala Zone bookings open 15th November every year and closed 15th June every year as you can enjoy the best weather during these seasons.Accordingly bookings get open 30 days prior of opening date.Dhikala zone mostly prefered for night stay at forest lodges in this zone like Dhikala FRH, Gaital FRH, Sarpduli FRH, Sultan FRH.To book night stay in these forest lodges you need to inform us 30 days prior of booking.We assist our clients in night stay booking in dhikala zone.Jeep safari in dhikala only possible when you book night stay in in dhikala FRH.Dhikla offers an ultimate night stay within the jungle in Dhikala forest rest house where you can encounter some extreme experiences as it is deep inside the jungle with many wild animals visiting the locations.Situated on the edges of the Patli Dun valley, Dhikla Zone is known for natural life touring. Bijrani Zone

The entry to this zone is from Amdanadda gate which is around 2 km from Ramnagar. The stunning natural views and home to exotic Bengal Tiger, Bijrani is no lesser of a zone. Since Jeep Safaris are allowed in this zone, it is the most visited zone by tourists. For the Jeep safari only 30 jeeps are allowed in one shift.

But, it won’t be wrong to say that it has some spectacular tree rows, massive grasslands, and hills. The temperature inside the jungle is approximately five degrees lesser than outside.A wide range of wildlife species found in this region is what makes it a unique zone in the Corbett. Along with the enchanting view, this zone also boasts of having a large number of the tigers making it a best tiger sighting zone.Bijrani Zone is best zone in demand among tourist due its beautiful biodiversity and safari tracks, Tiger sighting is very frequent in this zone, Jeep Safari in birani zone filled up very fast. You can also opt to stay inside this zone in Bijrani Forest Rest House and Mailani FRH. One safari jeep can carry a maximum of the 6 adults and 2 children excluding driver and guide/naturist. A guide is mandatory with the jeep to get the entry.

Jhirna Zone

The entry to this gate is from Dhela Gate which is15 km from Ramanagar. This zone can be visited any time of the year in day Jeep Safari. Tiger spotting in this zone is frequent due to grasslands as the other zones of Jim Corbett; however, it has varied species of wildlife such as tuskers, sambar deer, spotted deer, barking deers, Hog deer, Bear, wild boar with a large number of bird species are found in this zone. Jhirna zone now a days most popular zone in jim corbett from 2019 onwards due to regular tiger spotting and other wildlife spotting. Jhirna zone getting better reviews from visitiors from past few years , Although the no. of tigers also increased here in couple of years. The fact that, this zone remain open throughout the year is one of the key factors contributing to its appeal. It is the newest attraction of Jim Corbett and has gained notoriety yearly. Only 30 jeep safaris with limited jeeps on both slot can entry the Jhirna zone though it is becoming the first choice among visitors post lockdown.

Dhela Zone

Corbett is mostly recognised for the wide variety of plants and animals it supports. Even though Dhela is the name of the entrance to the Dhela Zone. Only thing different here in this zone is that only 15 jeeps could enter in one shift. Since it was added to Jim Corbett National Park in 2014, Dhela zone has became the popular destination for tourist from the start. The key attraction of this zone is that it remains open all year round for safaris.

The zone consists of mix topography which includes the dense forest of trees like Sal, Haldu, Bahera, Rohini and Kusum along with the large grasslands and various water bodies. Leopards, wild elephants, Nilgai, different species of Deer, wild bears and the various species of reptiles and birds are common in this area. Tourist have a good possibility of seeing wildlife in this zone as it includes grassland, jungle and fauna, especially because of the river in this zone; where numerous animals come in search of food and water.

Durga Devi Zone

Corbett is well-known for its variety of fauna. For the most part, this location is hilly; so the bird sighting chacnes are higher. For those who love bird watching, this zone is perfect for you. Birds like Grey headed fishing Eagle, Black Chinned Yuhina, Maroon Orile, Crested Laughing Thrushor, long tailed Broadbill are a common sight here. Besides this, it is the very zone in Corbett where the endangered Mahsheer fish come for breeding. The best time to visit this zone is from Mid November to June. Durga Devi Gate main entry gate to enter the zone which is 28 kilometers from Ramnagar; and when you enter, you can without much of a stretch see some extraordinary winged creatures like dark headed angling hawk, dark chinned yuhina, peaked giggling thrush, slaty blue flycatcher and maroon orile. At Garjiya Safari the no. of jeeps again limited upto 30 at one time slot. This zone falls on the dense forest so the chances to view wildlife in this area are always higher and with each year no. of tigers are getting increased as it becomes the first choice of Tourist to visit. They will give you a variety of flora and flora as it is the one of the main zone of Jim Corbbett. Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve Forest Safari Zone

This zone is the reserve forest zone and is attached to the Corbett Tiger Reserve Area. The entry route is through the Sitabani entry gate, which is from 3 areas: Tedha Gate, Kota (Bhandarpani Gate), and Pawalgarh Gate, with 60 jeeps entering each gate at one time. The area recently opened an entry gate through the Bhandarpani area, called Kota Zone, with an entry limit of 30 Jeeps at one time. Phato Zone Jim Corbett

Phato zone which is recently opened gate of jim corbett is currently available for jungle safari from january 2022 onwards inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 30th Dec 2021. Phato entry gate located 26km from ramnagar maldhan village. Having plenty of wildlife to explore in this unexplored region. However this zone not considered as part of corbett national park but the forest area is same densely populated with wildlife. As of now 50 jeeps in morning and 50 jeeps in afternoon conducted for safari in this zone and the entry permits available at the entry gate itself and very soon it will be online on government booking portal. Safari Guide is compulsory as like other safari zones of jim corbett. As it is the newest zone of Jim Corbett, the chances to view wildlife in this area are higher.
