In Jim Corbett National Park, there are more than 500+ different varieties of flora, including bushes, trees, flowers, grass, herbs, and many more. In the park, the majority of the species are organically growing. The vegetation and wildlife are the same whether in Jim Corbett zones or dense forest, and the visibility varies according to the location. Sal forest makes up 75% of the forest; the remaining portions also contain significant amounts of khair, sissoo, and chir pine. It won't be inaccurate to say that the bamboo forest predominates the majority of the region near Jim Corbett.
Trees: Compared to other tree species, the Sal forest dominates the other species of trees in most parts of the forest. There were also a lot of other species, including Khair (Senegalia catechu, Sissoo(Indian Rosewood), Chir Pine(Pinus roxburghii), Bamboo (Dendrocalamus strictus), and others.
Plants: The dense forest of Corbett is the only place where one can find medicinal herbs, even the other species like Mango(Mangifera indica), Jamun(Java Plum), Turmeric, Spices, Pine(Pinus), and so many. These and other uncommon types of medicinal plants like Heart-Leaved Moonseed(Giloy), Indian gooseberry (Amla) etc.
Flower: It was possible to witness flowering plants such as Kachnar (Bauhinia variegata), Amaltas (Cassia fistula), Yellow Chandeliers, Indian coral (Erythrina indica), or regional floral types. In addition, there are native species of flowers like Hibiscus, Roses, Sunflowers, Lilies, and Daisies.
Instead of that, there were also Shrubs, Bushes, Herbs, Bamboos, Grasses, and Climbers to be observed. There are a few types that can be found in and near the Forest Rest Houses in Jim Corbett National Park, including Teak (Tectona grandis), Silver Oak (Grevillea robusta), Eucalyptus, Jacaranda (Jacaranda mimosifolia), and Bottlebrush (Callistemon viminalis).
