Discover the New Zone of Corbett Heritage Jungle Safari at Choti Haldwani

The majestic Jim Corbett National Park, known for its rich biodiversity and the ambiguous Royal Bengal tiger, the park continuously adds attractions to enhance visitor experience. Among the latest additions is the Corbett Heritage Jungle Safari in the newly introduced zone at Choti Haldwani Starts From 17 December 2024 Inaguration by Shri Subodh Uniyal Forest Minister Uttarakhand. This zone holds a special place as it is harmonious blend of history, adventure, and conservation, offering a beautiful experience for visitors.

Choti Haldwani, also known as Jim Corbett’s Village, is carved in history as it was established by none other than Jim Corbett himself in the early 20th century as he is well known as a hunter-turned-conservationist, dedicated his life to protect the wildlife and empower the local communities.

What Makes this New Zone Special?

The Choti Haldwani zone is unique for its focus on sustainability, eco-tourism and cultural experience. The safari route takes visitors through dense forests, grasslands, and serene water bodies, offering a chance to witness the region's diverse flora and fauna. From vibrant bird species to graceful elephants and the iconic tigers, the wildlife here is abundant and mesmerizing. As part of the safari, visitors get to explore historical landmarks like Corbett’s home, now turned into a museum, and reflect his life and work. Walking trails around the village allow tourists to interact with the locals and understand their traditions, making the experience truly immersive.

Zone 1 : In zone zone 1 it will be like 3 hours jungle safari like other safari zones.

Safari Timing - Morning 6am to 9 am  

                      Afternoon - 2 pm to 5pm

Zone 2 : Safari Timing - 9m to 5pm  ( Full Day Safari With Open Gypsy & Nature Guide )    

In Zone 2 Places covered for safari like Corbett Fall, Jim Corbett Museum, Barati Rau Fall, Choti haldwani ,Iron Foundry. It will be like full day sightseen safari in open gypsy with nature guide.               

How to Book the Safari?

Booking a Corbett Heritage Jungle Safari at Choti Haldwani is a hassle-free process. Visitors can reserve slots online through the official website or you can contact us to plan your itinerary to make your visit comfortable ad memorable. It is advisable to book in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons from November to March. 

Corbett Heritage Jungle Safari Zone Price will be 6000/- Jeep Onwards. (inclusive of entry permit, guide fee, jeep charges & road tax etc).

Total Jeeps permitted in this zone is 30 in the morning and 30 in the evening in zone 1.
