Since the forest department's officers and guards had an idea about animal hunting, it became the poacher’s top priority in the vacation time. As a result, it became the most alluring form of murderous hunting for poachers in the Corbett area. The government issues a red notice because there is a chance that animal hunting and sales will pick up during this time. On Thursday night, three poachers were apprehended in the Corbett Tiger Reserve area, just like before. The festival period saw a decline in tigers, elephants, owls, and other local species, making it the best time to go hunting in the Corbett reserve forest for poachers. The unidentified jeep was discovered in the centre of the Pakhro Reserve as the forest department was capturing these poachers while patrolling in the deep jungle. Local U.P. residents were recognised as the poachers.
The forest department also seized four knives, one sharp weapon, 12 bore rifles, 17 cartridges, a flashlight, and one search light. They were presented to the Kalagarh court on Friday morning, from whence they would be jailed for violating the Forest Conservation Act and Arms Act.
