Newly opened zone Kota(Bhandarpani) became part of Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve
Since its establishment, Jim Corbett National Park has been the main tourist destination, as tourism grows, few other zones became part of the Jim Corbett Forest area. The most recent addition to this is Kota Zone (Bhandarpani); Kota Safari Zone Sitabani opened for tourists in May 2024. As of right now, only thirty jeeps are permitted in a single time slot; jeep safaris are offered in two time slots, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The Kota Tourism Zone became part of the Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve because it shared boundaries with the Sitabani Eco- tourism Area. These additional zones will provide last-minute travel options for individuals who book visits to Corbett at the last minute and will undoubtedly boost tourism in Jim Corbett.
Whether the timing and duration are the same as in other zones, the Kota Zone entry gate is from the Bhandarpani Gate, and the entire safari trip is 26 km. Since this forest and this portion of Corbett are unspoiled, there is a greater likelihood of seeing wildlife here. Make your Jeep safari reservation in Kota Zone Jim Corbett in advance to ensure it is confirmed.
